The Emerald Coast is a water sportsman's Paradise. Fort Walton Beach-Okaloosa Island- Destin offers saltwater and freshwater fishing, pontoon boating, parasailing, waterskiing, windsurfing, snorkeling, and diving, among others. Rental shops can be found all over the coast to get you prepared for your favorite water sport.
- The Santa Rosa Mall has more than 100 specialty shops, a food court, two restaurants, a 10-screen movie theater, and even a carousel.
- With 45 shops, Uptown Station offers fun outdoor shopping.
- Fort Walton Beach Main Street, five minutes from the beach, has an assortment of coffee shops, stores, restaurants, and Aunt Martha's Bed and Breakfast.

- “The world’s oldest operating live marine show aquarium,” the Gulfarium lies on the beachfront on the Gulf of Mexico. The typical Gulfarium visitor spends about three hours looking at all of the park’s sea life and attractions.
- Camp Walton Schoolhouse Museum was in session as Camp Walton School from 1912 to 1936. Today, visitors tour the restored schoolhouse.

The beaches are so beautiful on the Emerald Coast you may want to spend all of your time lying on the beaching or swimming. Okaloosa Island does have plenty of other things to do, as well.
Water Activities
